ABOUT THE AUTHOR Hemlata Talesra
Prof. Hemlata Talesra has had a distinguished career in higher education that includes teaching writing, research and administration. She obtained her Ph.D. degree in education from M.S. University, Vadodara. She had a faculty position there as Reader in Education before moving to Udaipur as Professor and Head of the Department. She participated actively in international, national and regional conferences organized by different agencies. She has her valuable publications in the form of writing ten books and editing seven books on different important subjects, and more than one hundred papers have bee published in international and national journals.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR Nilima Bhagabati
Dr. Nilima Bhagabati, Head, Department of Education, Gauhati University, obtained her MA and Ph D Degrees from the same University. She has contributed extensively to the curriculum development and academic progress of Gauhati University. She is a member of many national as well as international educational organizations. Being a social activist she is involved in activities like gender sensitization, child labour, literacy mission and peace education etc. She is also associated with Aswash, a project of Assam Police to monitor the educational aspects of the deprived and destitute children.
