ABOUT THE AUTHOR Brijkishore Dayal

Brijkishore Dayal has been associated with 'Swayam', a leading NGO that undertakes educational programmes for the poorest sections in urban areas. He has a Master's degree in Education and worked as Senior Teacher, Headmaster and Vice-Principal for more than thirty years in reputed schools and institutes in Delhi, Shillong, chennai, Calcutta and Dhaka. He has also been on the panel of consultants for the formulation and preparatory work on the Nationa Policy on Education. He has co-authored three books on curriculum planning, educational administration and educational reform.
