Psychology deals with the scientific study of mind, its characteristics and different modes of function. Life is a very complex phenomenon, the intricacies of which are an uphill task to solve. ABOUT THE AUTHOR Neelu Srivastav

Dr. Mrs. Neelu Srivastav had a brilliant carrier standing through out first division and first position and a gold medal in her MA in psychology from Banaras. She secured junior research fellowship from UGC to carry out researches in child psychology and development of morality among the college going students for which she was awarded PHD degree in 1982. She has continued her researches since then without accepting any formal position in terms of regular service. She has been contributing research articles in the areas of teaching methodology and counselling the students on the various aspects of their studies. She is extensively involved in the social work among the school and college going students, especially girl students in the rural areas.
