ABOUT THE AUTHOR P.P. Ghosh

Dr. P.P. Ghosh did his M.A. (Education), B.Ed., M.Phil and Ph.D. in Education from the University of Bombay, Mumbai. He has taught the subject for more than 30 years until his retirement as Director of the Institute of Education and Higher Learning, Mumbai. He has published 53 research papers in scholarly journals and three books and presented papers in national and State-level seminars and conferences. He is a life member of the Indian Society for Education. He has successfully guided half a dozen research studies and actively participated in All India Radio programmes on curriculum construction and planning. He has also acted as resource person in many teacher orientation programmes and curriculum planning committees. He is associated with several universities as a paper setter, examiner and research director.
