ABOUT THE AUTHOR Nabam Tadar Rikam

Nabam Tadar Rikam born at Taw (1973), a remote village in Papum Pare District, Arunachal Pradesh, did his M.A. in History in 1996 and M.Phil. in Tribal Studies in 1997 from Arunachal University. He has been awarded a Ph.D. on religious Aspects of the Nyishi Community in 2003 from the Department of History, Arunachal University. He has presented a dozen research papers at regional and national seminars. Some of his papers have also been published in reputed journals and books. He is actively and keenly associated to delve into the studies and researches on the tribal history and culture.
