ABOUT THE AUTHOR Tasneem Ahmad

Tasneem Ahmad (b. 1st September 1948) took his Master's degree in History 1970 from Aligarh Muslim University, aligarh. He took his master of Philosophy degree from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi while the degree of Doctor of Philosophy from University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. He is a young promising scholar, who has contributed several research articles on various aspects of Medieval Indian History in reputed journals. At present, he is working as Deputy Director (Medieval History Reseaerch) with Indian council of Historical Research, 35, Reroze Shah Road, New Delhi.
