ABOUT THE AUTHOR Ashu Pasricha
Dr. Ashu Pasricha is a multifaceted personality. She is Law Graduate (LLB), Masters in Public Administration, Gandhian and Peace Studies and Defence and Strategic Studies, M.Phil., Ph.D. from Panjab University, Chandigarh. Her earlier books "Gandhian Apporoach to Integrated Rural Development", "Public Administration: Discipline and Dimensions" and "Peace Studies: Discipline and Dimensions" have been widely ackopwledged as scholarly works of lasting value. She has also written a volume on "Gandhi's Concept of State and Power" in 20 Volume Series "Rediscovering Gandhi". Currently she is associated with the Department of Gandhian Studies, Panjab University, Chandigarh. She has published a number of research papers/articles on different subjects in various Indian and foreign journals of repute. She is also a regular contributor to various prestigious newspapers in the country and abroad.
