ABOUT THE AUTHOR P.P. Rawat

P.P. Rawat Librarian in the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow is a versatile personality associated with teaching, administration and research in the field of Library Science. He has done his M.A. in Sociology from Gorakhpur University and M.A. in History from Bundelkhand University. Mr Rawat has completed his B.Lib.Sc. from Mohanlal Sukhadia University Udaipur and Masters in Library Science from Vikram University Ujjain. Mr. Rawat has worked as librarian in the Bundelkhand Govt. Ayurvedic College and Hospital in Jhansi. He has also worked as an Honorary Principal in the Library Science Training Centre at Jhansi between 1977 and 1988. During this period he has taught different topics in Library Science. A Life member of many Journals in Library Science he has written many reviews and is an eminent author in the field of Library Science. He has been awarded the Bhamasa Award by the Maharana Mewar Foundation, Rajasthan, for topping in B.Lib.Sc. Which is a lifetime achievement.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR T. Kumar

T. Kumar Assistant Librarian of the Choturam Regional Engineering College worked alongwith Mr. Rawat to compile this Encyclopedia. Mr. T. Kumar did his M.Sc. in Mathematics from Lucknow University and his M.L.I.Sc. from the University of Delhi and subsequently worked as a documentation assistant in the Consourtim on Rural Technology and subsequently with Cimmco Ltd. as a librarian.
