Rita J. McNamara, a practicing counselor and therapist, explains the mechanics of the mind-body connection. She offers clear and comprehensive descriptions of various treatments that go beyond traditional massage and physical therapies. This book is about conflicts and patterns of tension. It is about the ways in which our past can come to haunt our present and our future. It is about the daily challenge we all confront. Included are detailed techniques for : Identifying energy blockage and the emotional patterns that cause them. Understanding and working with the chakra-endocrine system. How to use energetic therapies, such as pulse points, massage, meridian balancing, and polarity therapies.
