ABOUT THE AUTHOR N.D. Kaushika

N.D. Kaushika, formerly Professor, Centre for Energy Studies, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, is a specialist on renewable energy and environment and recipient of the S.S. Bhatnagar Research Endowment Award (Hari Om Ashram Prerit) for research in Energy Conservation in 1987. Presently Dean, School of Research and Development, Bharati Vidhyapeeth, college of Engineering, New Delhi, he has contributed articles in several reputed journals and authored chapters in international publications including Academic Press, USA. He has also been commissioned to contribute an article in the Encyclopedia of Energy, a forthcoming Elsevier Science Major Reference Work.
