English Khasi Dictionary

This English-Khasi dictionary by U. Nissor Singh, eminent educationist and lexicographer, is a companion volume to the author’s Khasi-English Dictionary Published in 1906. The manuscript of the dictionary originally prepared by the author was thoroughly revised by a committee of specialists before it was printed. In addition to Khasi equivalents and meanings, all English Words are respelt in round brackets ( ) immediately following, with symbols to facilitate pronunciation. The book supplies a long-felt want and will serve as a handy, compact reference tool for all students of Khasi language.
