Dr. Jagdish Pande earned his Masters' degree in Sociology and Economics from the Lucknow University. He awarded Ph.D. in Sociology from Kanpur University. He started his career with UP Higher Education and taught in many Govt. Colleges in the State till his retirement as Principal. An erudite scholar, he has successfully guided many scholars for their doctoral research. Besides many research papers, published in various professional journals, Dr, Pande has authored three textbooks for undergraduate students. He has also attended many national seminars. His another book Research in Sociology won him wide acclaim.
