The book givers brief introduction to Entomology and its related fields. It also provides readers with an introduction to insects, insect ecology and other related areas. In addition, the scientific classification, subclasses, orders of insects are reflected upon and the subject area of entomophagy is covered. ABOUT THE AUTHOR Shagufta
Shagufta, Faculty, P.G. Department of Biotechnology, A.N. College, Patna Magadh University, is m.Sc. in Zoology and Environment (IIEE, New Delhi). She isd a dedicated teacher and an outstanding researcher. She has benn a recipient of special State Merit Scholarship throughtout her college and university years.
The author has completed her Ph.D. research work on 'Seasonal Fluctuation in Blood Glucose and Glycogen and their Hormonal Regulation with reference to Male and Female Immature, Mature and Senile, Common Indian Fowl, Gallus Gallus'. She has authored twelve books and her ten research papers published in verious reputed journals and books. She has attended and presented papers International and National Conferences and Seminars on environment. She is the member of environment wing, Confederation of Indian Graduates (CIG).
