ABOUT THE AUTHOR Mahboob Alam
Dr. Mahboob Alam (b. 1954) obtained his M.A. (Pol.Sc.) and Ph.d. degree from the Banaras Hindu University, varanasi in 1977 and 1980 respectively. He belong to 1981 batch of Tamil Nadu Cadre of IPS and is currently serving as AIGP of C.I.S.F.
