ABOUT THE AUTHOR S. Farooq

Dr. S. Farooq has today emerged as a researcher of eminence in the field of herbal medicine in all its remifications. He has published more than 200 papers in national and international journals, earning universal encomiums from medical fraternity. among the renowned institutes and universtiies at which Dr. Farooq presented his research papers are the Washington State University, USA and the Institute of Pharmaceutical Science (ETH), Zurich, Switzerland and has chaired number of scientific seminars, nationally and internationaly. Dr. Farooq is actively and prominently associated with research bodies of numerous universities in India and abroad. Some among them are; AMU, JMI Universities, MJP Rohilkhand University, Hamdard University, HNB Garhwal University, Dr. BR Ambedkar University, Agra and Cairo University Egypt. He also has the distinction of being a Ph.D. examiner in Indian and foreign Universities. He is the chief editor of Universities Journal of Phytochemistry and Ayurvedic Heights. In recognition of his achievements, he has received number of national and international awards.
