Environmental Studies

Environmental science came alive as a substantive, active field of scientific investigation in the 1960s and 1970s. This was driven by the need for a large multi-disciplinary team to analyze complex environmental problems. Obviously, the emergence of such a broad interdisciplinary field of study calls for a complete understanding of the spectrum of system involved. With this in mind, it is strongly felt that there is a compelling need to provide students and other professionals, with background of environmental problems and their possible solutions in a simplified manner. This book encompasses the different environmental issues, related laws and latest information in a reader friendly manner.
