ABOUT THE AUTHOR Md. Moin Ansari

Dr. M.M. Ansari (b. 1973-) is currently working asAssociate Professor-cum-Senior Scientist and imparting teaching, research, extension & clinical activities at Sher-e-Kashmir University of ‘ Agricultural Sciences & Technology of Kashmir, a premierAgricultural University of Jammu and Kashmir, India. He completed his PhD in Veterinary Surgery and Radiology at Indian Veterinary Research Institute, (Deemed University), Izatnagar, India. He has also qualified and received certificates ofNET and ICAR-SRF (PGS) in Veterinary Surgery and Radiology from ASRB, ICAR, New Delhi and NAARM, Hyderabad respectively. He has over 13 years of experience of teaching, research, extension education and administration. During this period he has served College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences at India’s foremost Agricultural University Gobind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, Uttarakhand. He has extended his services as specialist/consultant to the zoological park; Pet clinic, Patna and World Bank funded Diversified Agricultural Support Project, Uttarakhand. Dr. Ansari has been honoured with number of awards and recognitions for his contributions to profession. Dr. Ansari was Principal Investigator, Co-Investigator and Associated in a number of projects. He is serving his duties as Editor-in Chief, Associate Editor & Members in Editorial and Reviewer Board in various national and international journals. To his credit he has published more than 100 publications in various national and international journals of repute, authored and edited 3 books, edited 3 compendia, 1 booklet, 9 chapters in books, presented more than 45 paper abstracts in annual symposia/conferences and has delivered many radio & tv talks in addition to being a resource person in training programmes at such a young age is itself a proof of his caliber.
