The book conceptualizes complex problem of ethnic tension in terms of a system, dynamic structure of the phenomenon is elucidated. ABOUT THE AUTHOR P.N. Rastogi

Dr. P.N. Rastogi is a Professor of Sociology at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. He is internationally known for his pioneering contributions in the field of his pioneering contributions in the field of social and management cybernetics and computer simulation of complex social system. He carried out Advanced research work at M.I.T. (1967-68) and London School of Economics (1971-72) and was awarded a Senior Fellowship of the ICSSR (1983) to work on the problem of ethnic tensions of Indians society. He has been an invites to international conferences in Sociology, Political Science, Cybernetices and Computer Science. Author of some 70 research papers in reputed national and international journals, Professor Rastogi has also written, the nature & Dynamics of Factional Conflict (1975), The Behaviour of Societal System (1978), Cybenetic Analysis of Indian Societal System (1978), Social & Management Cybernetics (1979), India 1981-86 1982) and Intelligent Management Systems (1985).
