Several studies on industrial sickness in the SSI sector in India quote, “Managerial” as one of the main reasons for small enterprises becoming sick. In this regard, the need for writing a book on financial management, especially for small enterprises, clearly exists. The authors of this book have taken enough care to discuss conceptual aspects in simple terms and also with several practical examples. The size of the book is deliberately kept small so that even busy entrepreneurs finish the entire reading during the weekend. Though the book is addressed to entrepreneurs, its contents are also found to be useful to officers in banks, financial institutions and development agencies to understand how funds are generally managed and decisions taken by small entrepreneurs. For them, this may prove to be source of guidance. Lastly, students pursuing M.Com. MBA, CA or ICWA may consider this as a good reference book.
