His area of research was plant biotechnology and agricultural biotechonology. He has guided morthan ten students for their doctorate degree. He is an active research scholar and has published five research papers in plant biotechnology in National and International journals. He has participated in many International and National level seminars and also delivered guest lectures in various professional institutions.
