Forest Flora of Goa

In this work 496 species of plants belonging to 291 genera are arranged. Beside that 82 exotic woody species introduced have also been mentioned. Each species carries its latest nomenclature with synonyms, English/trade names, local and Portuguese names and also its name in the book Hortus Malabaricus. Description, phenology, general distribution and uses of plants have been provided. Outside India many books have been published with beautiful illustrations. In India few such books are available. Considering this aspect 132 beautiful line drawings have been provided for easy identification.
