Forest Flora of the Presidency of Bombay and Sind by W.A. Talbot, is undoubtedly the best work on the woody flora of the major part of peninsular India. Profusely illustrated, it is the most useful work for identification of trees, shrubs, bamboos; palms and woody climbers and is sure to be widely used by botanists, foresters and naturalists. This masterly work remained out of print for well over sixty years and the present reprint will once again serve the botanical community with an authentic account of the flora of this highly interesting and vast area which has four distinct and different floras within its limits.
