ABOUT THE AUTHOR T.V. Satha

Dr. Sathe Tukaram Vithalsao (M.Sc., Ph.D., Sangit Visharad, IBT (Seri.), F.S.E.Sc. is readers in Entomology, Department of Zoology, Shivaji University, Kolhapur since 1996. He is contributory teacher to M.Sc. courses in Sericulture and Agrochemicals and Pest Management, Shivaji University, Kolhapur since last 7 and 11 years respectively. He has published 130 research papers in the journals of national and international repute, and several articles in daily newspaper / All India radio. He has published 9 books, Preet Patangachi (Drama) (1981), Crop Protection form Insects (1991), Sericultural Crop Protection (1998), Biological Pest control (2000), Insect Pest Predators (2001), Cotton Pests and Biocontrol Agents (2001), Mosquitoes and Diseases (2002), Indian Pest Parasitoids (2003) and Agrochemicals and Pest Management (2003). He has completed 3 major research projects, produced 11 Ph.D. and 2 M.Phil. students. He visited Canada British Columbia University Vancouver in 1988, Thailand QSNCC Bangkok, 2002 and Japan in 1988 for academic activities. He is member of editorial board of several journals in India. He also contributed for several multi-author books and involved in television programming of butterflies.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR V.Y. Kadam

Dr. Vishnu Yadavrao Kadam (M.Sc. Ph.D) is Associate Professor in Zoology at Bharati Vidyapeeth, MBSK Kanya Mahavidyalaya, Kadegoan, Dist. Sangali. He has published five research papers and attended and presented several research papers in national conferences/ seminars/etc. He is chairman of Satara District Environmental Centre of NESA.
