Prior to joining the teaching profession he worked in WOTR for Indo-German Watershed Development Programme and APRL Project as a Senior Technical Officer.

His papers had been presented at International Conference held at University of Warwick, U.K. He had been awarded as a best teacher and ranked 13 all over India in GATE Examination, 1986 in Agricultural Engineering.
