With the development in several disciplines lately studying environment, the spatial integration of their finding has become essential. In fact, the spatial aspects has become extremely important as environmental issues in planning and development initiative can no longer be ignored. The study of their spatial pattern and linkags have become a challange in the field of geography. As an initial step to review the whole situation, the environmental issues have been discussed in this work in three spatial frames: national, regional and local. The national issues have gained importance recently due to international awareness on several issues, such as global warning, depletion of ozone layer, biodiversity, green house effect etc. The most important event in this direction was 1992 save the earth summit held in rio de Janero. The regional issues such as resources, floods, deforestation, hazards, conservation etc. have been favourite issues for the geographers. They have been studying such environmental issues at regional level from decades. Such issues are more-s-ever permanent in nature and people have in a way adjusted to such a situation. The local environmental issues are closely associated to problems of the pollution, waste disposal etc. Due to nature of these problems, the spatial impact is limited. Since last one decade these issues have become important geographers have made valuable contribution in understanding the spatial impact of these problems.
