ABOUT THE AUTHOR S Venugopal

Dr. S. Venugopal did his M.Sc. in Zoology and Ph.D. in fish biology from the University of Bombay, Mumbai. He has done pioneering work in the field of freshwater fish culture. After teaching for more than three decades, presently, dr. Venugopal is associated with an NGO, Society for Aquatic Culture Development and Research in Mumbai. He has organised six state-level seminars on aquaculture development. Dr. Venugopal has published two dozen research and review articles in international and national reputed journals and has produced two books on diverse areas of Marine Biology. He is also on the panel of experts of several national organisations and a member of prestigious national and international academic societies.
