There is no binding of the time period generally but most of them generally hail from the modern period. Generally two sets of materials were collected for this purpose. One set contained names, date of death, works and activities, either in brief which can easily be elaborated upon with the help of hints noted down and in cases the sources utilized contained merely their dates of death or birth and even both and so certain notices may be found confined merely to such details or giving brief references to the material related to them with details of the sources utilized in which these can be found.
