It is indeed a matter of satisfaction for me to present a bunch of topics contains with epitome knowledge in the field of music of South India. It is truly helpful for a musical voyager to explore and a musical inceptor to dissipate, his doubts about music in general and carnatic music in particular. Impellation behind this attempt is mainly due to the void of such a work in the field of South Indian Music for U.G.C., School and other competitive exams. This endeavour will also help those who are very much new to the subject but desired to get some information objectively from any particular area; As one can’t differentiate the past time in some contexts, I resumed contents without any intersections like Indian Music, Carnatic Music and Ancient Tamil Music. Some of the sections are vast and huge like Composers and Musicians as one can’t categories these two clearly.
