This book is organized into three parts: part one of this book discusses the history of Myanmar, its land, people, and its grand ethnic diversity. It attempts to establish certain lessons, that teach that contrary to what the present proponents of global markets assume, the earlier regimes of the same forces anywhere outside the Western World had not done much good for the people. The book looks at the ongoing efforts of nation building in Myanmar without bias or prejudice. Part Two addresses the political consequences of Western models of reforms and liberalization. This part cautions youth against the seductive propaganda of globalization. Part Three discusses what should be done to development the dollar-starved societies particularly those in the Southeast Asia. As it appears, the United States is printing dollars and the rest of world is working to buy them.
