The ideology and operation of global terrorism has been studied into seven chapters. First chapter deals with nature and objective of terrorist activities. The origin and sponsorship of nationalist terrorism in described in second chapter. Third chapter described state terrorism carried out by governments for their political interest. Fourth chapter examines terrorist activities which are committed by Communist organisations or states against civilians to achieve political or ideological objectives by creating fear. Eco-terrorism is critically examined in fifth chapter, however, sixth chapter focuses on the terrorist activities carried out in the name of religion. Terrorist mode of operation is discussed in the last chapter. This book is an important and welcome addition to the field of terrorism.
