According to recent data, there is close relationship between levels of infrastructure development, education, democratization, political leadership and commitment to the principles of good governance and the level and quality of e-governance implanted in the countries. These are strong indicators of e-Readiness and the opportunity cost of such endeavour. The resulting benefit can be less corruption , increased transparency, greater convenience, efficiency, revenue growth and/or cost reductions, as well as increased legitimacy.
