Rapidly changing agriculture practice and the broad impacts of Urbanization, in NCR specially Gurgaon and Mewat districts have definitely put strains on the groundwater aquifers. Presently it is necessary to understand the ground water systems. Further investigations should be done to determine context of aquifers location and boundaries of recharge-discharge Zones, effects of changing land us e.g. agricutlure to urbanization and industrialization and assessment of groundwater Resource Management for future needs. The present study is based on a limited Hydro geological Survey in parts of NCR. A multidisciplinary approach is required to evolve cost effective artificial recharge/rain water harvesting schemes that can sustain ground water resource for future in NCR., New Delhi. While the progress on the technology is very rapid, it is fact that the full benefits of the technology for Natural Resources management and processing of Geo resource are not fully realized by Scientific Community. This is primarily due to the reason that application market is not user driven completely.

This background let us look into the national needs, their impact and scope of Geo resource management continuing Advances in Computing provide the technical tools for the compilation, storage and distribution of large amount of geological data. However, better access to larger, more accurate data base will not be it self, solve the complex issues underlying the Resource Management and Conservation of natural resources.
