ABOUT THE AUTHOR S. Lomash

Dr. S. Lomash graduated in Mechanical Engineering in Honours from M.A.C.T. Bhopal in 1975. He joined Hydrogenerator Engg. Division of BHEL in 1976. He id his M.Tech, in Material Science from the same institute in 1980and later on qualified MBA in 1984 from Bhopal University. He did his Ph.D. in 2002. He was trained in VE in 1977 and has done a pioneering work in VE of generators. He has more than 70 papers to his credit which have been presented and published in various National and International seminars, journals, magazines and newspapers. He has designed more than 40 hydrogenerators for export and indigenous contract. He has experience of several R&M projects and has widely travelled in India and abroad. He has been trained in Toshiba Japan on VE and design of Sardar Sarovar River Bed Hydroelectric Generators. He has authored several books in Management including Value Management, Tools and Kits of a Manager, Business Policy and Strategic Management etc. Presently, he is working as General Manager Electrical Machines and is heading Hydrogenerator, Turbogenerator and A.C. Machines Engineering Division of BHEL, Bhopal.
