ABOUT THE AUTHOR K.S. Rao

Kandapalli Sriramiah Rao has worked for over twenty years with the Asia-Pacific News Agency (APNA), first as sub-editor and then as senior News Editor at its regional office in Manila. He has also covered some major events such as the Gulf War of 1990 and the Afghanistan conflict. He has received several commendations from regional and local press associations. He is currently Visiting Fellow in Journalism and Current affairs in two universities in India.
