Handbook of Mineral Exploration and Ore Petrology: Techniques and Applications

Dr. R.Dhana Raju got his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Geology respecticely, in 1965 and 1970 from the Andhra University (AU), Visakhapatnam, India. After serving as a CSIR Pool Officer in the Geology Department of AU from 1971 to 1973, he joined the Atomic Minerals Directoatte (AMD) for Exploration and Research of the Dept. of Atomic Engergy, Govt. of India as Scientific Officer - C on April 13, 1973 and retired, on superannuation, on December 31, 2002, as the Associate Director (Mineralogy and Petrology), AMD. He had edited three volumes (nos. 12, 13, and 14) of EARFAM and is an Associate Editor of the Journal of Applied Geochemistry. He has authored the booklet on 'Radioactive Mineral's, published by the Geological Society of India in 2005.
