ABOUT THE AUTHOR Ravi Madapati

Ravi S Madapati holds an M.S. degree in Financial Economics from the University of Wales, Cardiff, UK. Formerly he was with the View Group, a private equity firm based at Boston and Mumbai, where he worked as an Investment Analyst in the trade-finance area. Prior to this, he served as a credit risk analyst at the Credit Rating & Information Services India Ltd. (CRISIL). He is also the founder of Bowstring Capital Services, a consulting company aimed at providing capital management services. Presently Ravi Madapati is working as a Faculty Member at ICFAI Knowledge Center and also teaches Merchant Banking and Financial Services, Financial Engineering and Derivatives. His articles have been published in various publications of ICFAI Press like ICFAI Journal of Management Research, Global CEO, Treasury Management, ICFAI Reader and ICFAI Journal of Operations Management. His areas of interest are Alternative Investments & Technology.
