ABOUT THE AUTHOR Namita Sahoo

Dr. Namita Sahoo, born at Baripada, Orissa (1966) is a lecturer in UPRT open University Allahabad. She did her M.A. (History) from Utkal University, B.Ed. from CASE, M.S. University of Baroda and M.Ed. and Ph.D. (Education) From Institute of Education, D.A. University, Indore. Her specialization is educational technology and teaching of Social Sciences. To her credit she has published a number of research papers in reputed journals of education and has presented papers in national and international seminars and conferences. She has also been associated with a number of research projects sponsored by IGNOU, UNESCO Chair, NIEPA and SIEMAT, U.P.
