This book is concerned with the survey of historical development of communication. Here the term ‘Communication is used on micro-macro level. Whatever we see, the present condition of communication which have been extended in various branches and mechanised, are completely different from the primitive age. With development of human race and civilization it has been enhanced, extended, refined. During the early phase of human race body language, figurative language were used. With the development of time, a number of languages existed. In antique time pigeon and messenger, were used to send message from one place to another place but this means of communication have been replaced by pot, telegram and e-mail. New inventions of technical devices like, radio, T.V., computer have made it easy. In post-modern generation group and local media, mass media, satellite, computer have brought revolution in the field of communication.
