The book is arranged in two parts. The first part is intended to serve as a general guide to beekeeping throughout the first year or so. In the second part, the more technical and advanced information likely to prove of service in later years is contained. The first twelve chapters are intended to be read as a whole, as they are written to cover the activities of the bees and the beekeeper throughout the cycle of one year.
