Chapter on ‘Aromatherapy’ details the use of essential oils in human health care, techniques employed, aromatherapy massage, aromatic bath, facial care, hair care etc. Information on aromatic oil’s wide spread application to relieve stress and rejuvenate body are also included.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR Baby P. Skaria

Dr. Baby P. Skaria, Scientist, is the Head of Aromatic and Medicinal Plants Research Station, Odakkali under kerala Agricultural University. He has led several research and development projects. He possesses 28 years of experience in research and teaching and guided Ph.D. students. An Entomologist by specialization, he has worked in different crops, especially Aromatic and Medicinal Plants. He has authored more than 70 research papers in international and national journals and also contributed chapters to many books. Conservation, domestication, production and management are the fields of his interest.
