ABOUT THE AUTHOR I.R. Kumar

I.R. Kumar (b. 1936) MA, DLSc., FSIS, FUWAI, AMIMA has served the Government, Public and Private sectors for over five decades and is currently associated with the United Service Institution of India, New Delhi. He was awarded an ‘Outstanding Achievement Award’ by the Management Studies Promotion Institute, New Delhi Fellowship with a Medallion and Scroll of Honour by the Society for Information Science, Fellowship by the United Writers Association, Chennai and ‘Praveen’ by the Sanskritik Vidyapith, Aligarh. He is listed in the ‘Limca Book of Records, 2004’ and is referenced in national and international Who’s Who compilations. He is also a member of many prestigious professional associations. He is a veteran trainer, researcher, reviewer, information scientist and management consultant. He has directed and co-ordinated many programmes and contributed papers, articles, write-ups in various seminars, workshops, training programmes, journals and financial newspapers like The Economic Times and The Financial Express. He has also authored books, both in official and personal capacity.
