ABOUT THE AUTHOR Ajit Kumar Ghosh

Prof. A.K. Ghosh is currently reader, department of Commerce (Stream: Human Resource management), University of Burdwan. He did his doctoral research in industrial relations in the University of Burdwan. Prof. Ghosh has industry experience for nearly 27 years. He has worked with manufacturing industry and also service industry as Head of personnel at the factory/Regional office. His major teaching and research interests focus on industrial relations, organizational behaviour, management and general areas of human resource management. Prof. Ghosh is a prolific writer and has journals on different facets of management. He is Associate Member of the National Institute of Personnel management and also The Indian Society for Training and development.
