Human Rights in 21st Century: Changing Dimensions

The subject of Human Rights has gained enormous importance in the contemporary times. The faculty of Law, University of Delhi, organized an International Conference on Human Rights in 21st Century: Changing Dimensions in 2011. The book is a compilation of articles based on papers presented in the Conference. The thrust areas include evolution of human rights; collective rights; human rights and women; human rights of children and other vulnerable sections of the society; human rights violations and international humanitarian law; human rights and terrorism; enforcement of human rights at national and international level; role of National Human Rights Commission and State Human Rights Commissions and Human Rights Courts in the protection and promotion of human rights; role of NGOs in the promotion of human rights; human rights and corporate accountability; human rights and intellectual property rights; neo-liberalization, globalization and human rights.
