Dr. Asha Sharma is at present working as Reader in English, Department of Law, Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak. Her area of specialization is Afro-American literature. She has participated in several workshops and presented many papers in seminars and conferences on literature and language teaching. Apart from the present volume on James Baldwin, she is working on a textbook of Engilsh language for students of Law.

Rajendra Kaushik obtained her B.Sc., M.Sc. (Gold Medalist) and Ph.D. degrees from Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur.
