The book has made a successful endeavour to find out the nature and extent of development of agriculture sector of Bangladesh. It also attempts to analyse the credit delivery services and performance of the sample bank, its credit clientele, objectives, etc. And to design and develop an integrated reform plan for the financing process of the nationalized bank specialized in financing for agricultural development i.e. the Rajshashi Krishi Uddayan second largest share of agriculture credit disbursement in the country.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR Rustam Ali
Dr. Rustam Ali Ahmed is Associate Professor in the department of Finance & banking at Rajshashi university of Bangladesh. He completed Ph.D. from Jamia Millia Islamia (Central Govt. University), New Delhi and was awarded Indian UGC –JRF fro his research. Formerly, he served as Financial Analyst in the largest Nationalized Commercial Bank of Bangladesh. He earned rich experienc3e in some other business organization. Dr. Ahmed authored a book, Advanced Insurance and bank management for Master’s Level published in 1996 and also published a good number of research papers in various reputed academic journals.
