This book deals with the impact of economic reforms on agriculture and allied sectors, employment, education and other core sectors of our economy. Economic reforms in our country were started from 1991 and we have made progress in this direction but more efforts are still required so that the country may be stronger in economic and social front. Employment and poverty have adversely affected our economy and we have to combat with these evils, which have hampered our progress in several fields. The authors in their articles have discussed various issues concerning economic reforms initiated in our country. They have also given practical suggestions for the upliftment of economic and social structure. The economic reforms must cover our village economy, where improvements are more intensively required. This requires increase in agricultural production and productivity and well living of rural society. The authors have given more attention towards this aspect. This book should be liked by the readers as it contains conceptual framework and relevant literature on the subject.
