Indian has become a sovereign, Democratic, Secular, Socialist Republic. The Study of the Constitution of India has assumed a great significance. The students in particular and public in general should be familiar with the provisions of the Indian constitution. In this book I have made an attempt to present quintessential features of the Indian constitution. Special emphasis is also laid on the special provisions dealing with the rights of the Dalits and other weaker sections of the society.
