ABOUT THE AUTHOR Shyamal Bhattacharjee

The author, Mr Shyamal Bhattacharjee, was born at West Chirimiri Colliery, now District Surguja at Chattisgarh. He received his early education at the Mount Carmel Covent School, Bishrampur, and later at the Christ Church Boys' Higher Secondary School, Jabalpur. He later joined the Hislop College at Nagpur and completed his graduation in Science. Thereafter in 1981, he joined the 'Hitavada' at Nagpur as the Senior Editor of Sports and covered many prestigious national and international games and sports events. He also football and hockey for A.I.R. Nagpur. He left journalism in 1982 to complete his studies in Business Management (M.B.A.) from the Nagpur University, which he completed in 1984, and later he capped his fine run of studies in 1992, acquiring a Diploma in Export management. He accumulates a vast experience in the processional carrer and has handled various managerial responsibilities in different industries in marketing. He has also been adjudged as the Best Blogger by the Commonwealth Blogger Community in 2008. At present he is a Senior Business-cum-Research analyst for Genisys Integration Systems India Limited, Bangalore, handling the marketing department, besides devising the international marketing gamut of S.A.P. for marketing its modules and solutions in Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
