ABOUT THE AUTHOR H.C. Verma
Dr. H.C. Verma is a Professor of History at the Department of History, University of Delhi, Delhi. His contributions to the field of history is widely acclaimed. Among his contributions mentions may be made off Medieval Routes to India (1978) and Dynamics of Urban Life in Pre-Mughal India (1986). Professor Verma has also contributed and edited Medieval India (Hindi) in two volumes, a project sponsored by the University of Delhi for a growing number of students with Hindi medium.
