Insufficient effort has been made for quite a long time to study Indian diasporic community abroad. There has not been enough work on then, either by Indians in both hostland and homeland or by outsiders. Irrespective of their marginal and deprived positions, they embody a stronger sense of affinity and adherence towards India. To them, India is and will always be in their hearts what they regard as mother India and their true and only home. It is also surprising to note how amidst all hurdles and hostile conditions, they endeavor and succeed in all fields-ranging from literature to art, culture, politics and other professions.
